Reindeer Biscuits

Reindeer Biscuits

Jump to Recipe

Do you ever look at all of those images of fun Christmas themed foods on Instagram or Pinterest and think “Well that’s great, but how can I make this gluten free?”

I have done exactly that and converted Reindeer Biscuits to a gluten free version that you and your kids can enjoy!

I found the small marshmallows in the baking aisle at Coles – gluten free by ingredient; and the strawberry and cream lollies were in the party section at K-mart and were only $1 (I know, right!!).

Reindeer Biscuits Ingredients

These do take a reasonable amount of time to assemble so make it a bit easier for yourself by sorting out the lollies into separate bowls and get ready. The end result is worth it.

  1. Melt chocolate in a bowl over simmering water or in the microwave.

  2. On a large surface, lay out baking paper and place biscuits on top.

  3. Chop small marshmallows in half length-wise.

  4. Spread melted chocolate over 1 biscuit.

  5. Place on nose and eyes.

  6. Spread melted chocolate over half of the back of the bears and place as antlers.

  7. Repeat for all of the biscuits.

  8. Wait until chocolate has set and then store in an airtight container in the fridge until you’re ready to eat them.

Recipe Notes

There should be enough chocolate left over if you were doubling all of the other ingredients to make 40 biscuits.
