I’m like a kid in a giant candy store when I attend the annual Coeliac Queensland Gluten Free Expo in Brisbane.
There are soooo many things that you can buy for amazingly cheap prices and you can sample practically EVERYTHING!! My tip: Don’t eat before you go…. trust me, you’ll be filling up on samples before you buy. I always take a nanna trolley with me – my current one is red with white polka dots and she (Minnie) has been to the last couple of expos with me. Minnie serves me well as I stock up on things in bulk, products I haven’t seen before, as well as books and pamphlets.
There are seminars to attend and cooking demos to watch as well, if the super cheap products didn’t convince you. The tickets are cheap as chips and they cover entrance for both days – Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st May 2017. Plus you can feel warm and fuzzy for being able to purchase your ticket and knowing that the proceeds go directly to a not-for-profit organisation that wants to help you with your autoimmune disease. So everyone is a winner!
This year, l have been contacted by Coeliac Queensland and asked if I would like to give away a double ticket to the event! So all you need to do is head to my Facebook page, give it a like and comment on the post as to which one person would you take with you in 25 words or less and why. But be super duper quick because this ends at 8.00am on Saturday 8th May 2017. You have to be able to get to the event in Brisbane in order for your entry to be valid too. The winner will be drawn at random within the few days after the close date. The competition is in no way associated with Facebook.
